A Prayer for Fairtrade Fortnight

Loving God,  
You created this world in abundance and beauty, with enough for all to flourish and thrive.
We thank You for the farmers and workers who labour daily to bring food and resources to our tables.

Lord, we pray for justice and fairness in global trade, that every hand that works may be treated with dignity, and every life valued and respected.  
Grant us the wisdom to make choices that reflect Your love, so that we may support those who are often unseen, yet essential.

Open our hearts to the struggles of those who produce the goods we enjoy, and stir within us the desire to stand for fairness, by choosing products that honour the dignity of every worker.  
May we be mindful of the impact of our actions and strive to live out Your call to love our neighbours—both near and far.

Bless the efforts of Fairtrade and all organizations working for justice.  
May they be strengthened in their mission to bring fairness and hope to communities around the world.
